Negro League Baseball Southeast Summer Travel League Formation:
In the heart of the Southeast, a tryout will be held in the region, and Negro League Baseball proudly announces the formation of a semipro league open to players from all locations. We extend an invitation to all aspiring baseball talents, embracing the spirit of inclusion and diversity. Sponsored and endorsed by Negro League Baseball, this league offers a unique opportunity for players to showcase their skills, compete in a summer travel league, and continue their pursuit of the dream of playing professional baseball.
Our league, named Negro League Baseball Southeast Summer Travel League, stands as a tribute to the remarkable legacy, history, and achievements of three distinguished African American baseball players: Rube Foster (the father of Negro League Baseball). The teams within our league will carry we aim to perpetuate his vision and inspire generations of baseball enthusiasts.
We are offering more than just a league; we are providing an opportunity to keep that dream "ALIVE."

Join Negro League Baseball Southeast Summer Travel League – where the spirit of the game and the dreams of aspiring players converge in a summer filled with nonstop baseball, 24 games and an post season over 5 months, from May to September.This league is a platform for showcasing unknown talents, providing exposure, and unlocking opportunities for players hungry for success. Mention that if you don't have formal experience in baseball or a lack of a resume, we will continue to train and develop talent as we see fit if there is potential spotted at the tryout. So give your best effort, as there will be professionals and collegiate-level talent. NLB will offer the chance to win prize money in tournaments.

With only three HBCU players drafted in the last MLB draft, NLBB aims to bridge this gap by establishing an independent league. Your contribution will empower these communities, allowing aspiring players to showcase their talent and potentially reach professional levels, while also fostering a sense of pride and representation.

Travel baseball can be prohibitively expensive, leading to disparities in opportunities for aspiring African American players. By donating to NLBB, you're helping to offset these costs and providing an avenue for talented individuals to compete at the highest levels. Together, we can ensure that no player is left behind and that the African American presence in baseball continues to grow and thrive.
